IONA Designs began as an Idea to Create, an Inspiration to Design and a Desire to Share.

I started IONA DESIGNS with the idea of creating jewelry using everyday objects around us. I saw the beauty in a broken piece of glass, stones hiding in the river sand, coins, flowers & leaves among other things. Working through a combination of these, I started gifting them to friends and family, who shared feedback and suggested that I should perhaps make this a small crafts business.

As I progressed on this journey, I embraced the beauty of nature in its entirety.

Our jewelry caters to every mood and occasion. Every piece is handcrafted - totally unique! It might not always be symmetrical, but that's what makes it special—like the petals of a flower.

As one-of-a-kind designs:

We make sure that no more than 2 to 3 pieces are alike; so each one has its own little quirks. We really want every item to feel special. If you love a design but want it in a different color or length, just let us know! We are excited to customize pieces for you based on what material we have. We are also big on sustainability, so we up cycle and recycle, using stuff from nature like flowers, leaves, stones, and pebbles in our jewelry.

Re-love  & Re-Fashion:

I discovered a new purpose in upcycling and recycling, giving a chance to ‘Re-love’ many things that might end up in landfills. Today, dull glass jars with a splash of color and design looks great on a writing desk, orphaned plastic containers become stylish ladle holders, organizers, planters, and more!

We will paint your clothes which you love to keep & wear but are bored of the same old look! How about that stain in your favorite tablecloth, let’s see if we can add do something about that.

Today, Iona, which means "purple jewel," is a platform which crafts beautiful jewelry and revitalizes items that others may overlook. It’s not just about being creative; it's about making a positive impact on our planet!
